A good prayer to begin with:

Give us grace almighty Father, so to pray, as to deserve to be heard, to address thee with our hearts, as with our lips. Thou art everywhere present, from thee no secret can be hid. May the knowledge of this, teach us to fix our thoughts on thee, with reverence and devotion that we pray not in vain.~

May we now, and on each return of night, consider how the past day has been spent by us, what have been our prevailing thoughts, words and actions during it, and how far we can acquit ourselves of evil.~

Have we thought irreverently of thee, have we disobeyed thy commandments, have we neglected any known duty, or willingly given pain to any human being? Incline us to ask our hearts these questions oh! God, to save us from deceiving ourselves by pride or vanity.~

Give us a thankful sense of blessings in which we live, of the many comforts of our lot; that we may not deserve to lose them by discontent or indifference.~

Hear us almighty God, for his sake who has redeemed us, and taught us, thus to pray, Amen.~

Amen...

The VPP issue in BP has caused us much pain and labor, and it is distracting prayer life, then this indirectly has effect family and ministry, and the evil workers from the VPP camp came to disturb living, these are more or less like the over zealous "zealots," the doctors even wanted to break our rice bowl and wanted to see us killed and commit suicide, everything will work out good. Hopefully, we can go through this obstacle with the hands of the Lord, help us, Lord Jesus.

This pastor below has directly insult and broken the bond and unity in his church, he is going to chase out his chinese pastors from the chinese congregation, because he does not agreed to accept the doctrine of VPP. And see with yourself, he can preach at another time about fainting and praying, marvelous, typical following one wrong footstep of the theologian, pity!

The pastor preached, "As believers we must never give up on God. God never gave up on us and He never will! Trust in Him no matter how tired and discouraged we might be with people. Never be despondent with our God. He cares and will always hear our prayers. Trials and tribulations will abound in the last days as we battle for the Bible! Every means will be used by the Evil One to thwart God’s children from doing God’s will and God’s work! Remain stedfast and unmoved by these attacks. Defending God’s Word and Christ’s Name and God’s people is a passionate endeavour. The moment we stop and allow ourselves to be moved we have lost and have fainted. The only way to keep ourselves from losing heart is to keep praying with persistence and fierce determination because we know that the eternal destiny of the souls of men, women and children are at stake. They need God’s people to pray always and not faint.

Will you preserve in your prayers as you see the day of the LORD fast approaching? Jesus warns in Luke 18:8 , “I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” Jesus has promised that He will avenge in His time.

The problem is not Christ’s faithfulness but ours! Let us always pray and not faint!

May God raise up men and women of faith in Calvary Pandan who will pray always and never faint!"

Here is a another BP pastor who is attacking those who does not like VPP, see how he preached in another time, he forgot he has broken the unity in BP; he preached:

“The house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15). The duty of the church is to believe, declare and defend every word in the Bible, which is the truth of God.

Never let our congregation waste a single moment or a single drop of its sweat to disprove the words of the Bible, which we have received and have been our blessing. Let us spend every moment and our every drop of sweat and blood to understand, to defend and to declare every letter and every word of the Bible.

We should not seek the false form of spirituality that supports critics of God's Word by a specious logic that neglects simple and plain truth of His Word. Be child-like in believing everything that the Lord has uttered in His Word. If we wear the intellectual hat and sit with the Bible with a critical spirit, we are nothing more than a congregation of Pharisees. We will be taken in by our own conceit.

I have written this article to call you, at this time, to the great duty of standing fast at your post for the truth of God, and to the equally great duty of endeavouring, wherever you are, to maintain that we believe that God's Word is true to every letter. Be ye not carried about by every wind of doctrine. Give not heed to every schismatic who would lead you aside. Hold fast to the oracles of the Most High. You know what you have been taught, and whereunto you have been called; and you know the foundation whereupon you have been built up. May God give us courage to stand up for what is right, even to believe His Word to be perfect to every letter.

So The member in BP start to talk, here are some of them:

1. The School of Prophets had a fray, (You seems to be from this school too.)
Where just a few men had a say. (If you don’t agree with what they say, then why did you in it stay?)
But when another disagreed, (Are you in the frame? how do you know what is disagreed?)
They jumped upon him for his deed. (May we know what he really did?)

Colleagues with whom they could pakat. (Trying to show how you can also make the mark?)
Who wrote a paper in defense, (Oh yea? So what’s the defense?)
To be inspected by the lens – (Please let us also see if they stand a chance)

4. Of Khoo and Quek the deadly duo, (Thank God cos they did speak the truth!)
Who always shout and make a show, (If possible to expose you too!)
Of their devotion to the Word, (If not because they love the LORD)
But in doing so they looked absurd. (They probably will be just like you too!)

5. With Das and Carol at their side, (Careful, my friend. Don’t take us for a ride!)
They threatened those who do abide, (You seems to be hurt in the pride?)
To the Reformers’ view of “pure,” (Reformers are human too,)
These they hoped to convert and cure. (there’s limit in their truth!)

6. To their view of the perfect text, (That is GOD’s WORD at Max!)
But with this lore we’re very vexed, (Or perhaps it is you who is very vexed?)
The Bible is the Word of God, (Aye, and Amen to that indeed!)
Already perfect Lamp and Rod. (And do I see in you a nod?)

7. This epic saga continues, (Because this is nothing new!)
With people and their diff’rent views, (Man’s view is man’s view, GOD’s WORD has no views!)
Can there not be plurality, (Are you bargaining?)
In Reformed Christianity? (Or are you contemplating?)

8. No, there can’t be plurality, (Yes! for others. No, for ONE!)
With those in the extremity (Else I won’t know what HE wants!)
Of fundamentalism, they (Fundamentalism is just a name)
Insist only upon their way. (Many hid behind and use it in vain!)

9. To them, the rest have bastardised, (Are there any better otherwise?)
The version that they’ve idolised. (Please don’t take us another ride!)
Because the rest refuse to hold, (What version would you hold?)
The doctrine on which they’ve been sold. (Westcott and Hort’s has many holes!)

10. But through the research it’s been found, (What research is that please?)
Their view is really quite unsound. (By GOD’s WORD or man’s greed?)
The people whom they like to quote, (Man again? Oh! Please! Please!)
Are really not all in their boat! (Please keep that to GOD’s creed!)

11. Verse seven of the famous Psalm, (Psalms? Okay, let me see.)
Is often twisted in their palm, (I think I really disagree!)
To talk about the Lamp and Rod, (isn’t it the WORD of GOD?)
When really it’s the Man of God. (WORD of GOD is the SON of GOD!)

12.And when these truths have been made known,(If GOD can’t perfectly HIS WORD keep)
Their perfect doctrine has been blown. (How can man to trust HIS deeds?)
But rather than admit their fault, (Neither O' Martin Luther did!)
They write their lies and do assault – (He nailed his ninety-nine thesis!)

13. The ones who dared to challenge them, (They silenced him in Church to speak,)
These, they have labeled with a name, (And all the faithful pastors, the wicked kicked!)
“Neo-Fundamentalists” and more, (The wicked posed faithful, but did more in their greed!)
To vex them and to make them sore. (Unable to face the truth, lies works just like this poetry did!)

14. They say that they will even name, (The stones will cry indeed!)
To friends and students without shame, (Ashamed of GOD’s WORD preserved, they make the old pastor’s head to split!)
These enemies whom now they hate, (They tell the lies and fixed the date,)
Their church to warn lest it’s too late. (Charts drawn, and did their tricks!)

15. The session of the Church was split, (Yes, for many feared man and him to please!)
And members in despair complete. (Confused or just couldn’t care a bit?)
Will leaders fully understand? (What is there so hard to understand?)
Else labor vain on Beulah Land! (GOD says with faith like mustard seed surely can!)

16. We prayed that God would intervene, (Your god likely is not Abraham’s)
In this whole mess that went extreme. (Smoke screens and confusions with these men!)
Perhaps the Lord’s will was to purge, (Look! They who kicked their father is in praying hands!)
Make us into a purer Church. (May GOD bless you! Amen? Amen?)

17. We’d seen the hand of God in this (We’d seen the wicked men in his deeds)
Strange situation-gone-amiss. (Hoping nothing is done amiss.)
He caused our trust in Him to be (Telling the members what their “truth” is)
Implicit with tenacity.(The old pastor has left his sheep!)

18. The building of the Beulah Tow’r (You mean that old sign board across the street?)
Was cut short in its tracks for sure, (“FEBC Student’s Hostel” is!)
When the authorities came by, (Has it not been taken down to continue in their bottomless greed?)
They said we could not build so high. (They now have raised the price to five million high!)

19. Appeal after appeal was made, (Building a house for whom to sleep?)
When it was resolutely said, (Student’s family now their heads no place to place,)
The current house upon the land, (Everything is now by grace.)
Be well-maintained and left to stand. (Students running from place to place!)

20. Then God again revealed his plan, (Man’s plan now “becomes” GOD’s plan?)
Disposed the proud design of man. (Showcase what the wicked can.)
It’s so ironic, you’ll be shocked, (Oh! Indeed! Very shocked I am!)
It shows that God cannot be mocked. (GOD’s righteous judgment is surely at hand!)

21. When Jeffrey Khoo and Quek Suan Yew, (Charles, Colin, Calvin, and Mark too!)
With Das their faithful henchman too, (Raised their banners too! Didn’t they?)
Were planning on a trip to take, (Wrote to many, telling half truths)
Dean Burgon’s Annual Conf’rence make. (And make the church confused!)

22. Their heroes whom they’ve made to be, (These men from Burgon fears to take!)
Rejected them despite their plea, (Rejected them despite their plea.)
Attend the meeting they could not, (Attend the meeting they did not,)
As full immersion was the cost. (Man’s support is not needed for this cause!)

23. Despite the document of peace, (Peter and all were told to hold their peace)
Which all the Elders had released, (Songs in dungeon, they're released)
That both beliefs were quite okay, (If knowing the truth and doeth it not be sin,)

But now a cannon loose become (Telling lies and half truth, is not of love!)
The damage is already done. (Love must overflow with truth!)

27. The leaders of the church implored (If the church entrusted to you from GOD’s hand is falling. What would you do?)
The principal to call a board, (Call the board!)
The faculty he must instruct, (Faculty must meet!)
To show forth well their good conduct. (Tell the truth! Warn the uninformed of YOU!)

28. But many Elders liked to say (What are things they trying to hide?)
Freedom of speech was there to stay. (Stuffed our mouth and block other’s minds!)
But these of course were sycophants, (Sound like you’re suffocating.)
Their fawning out of dead conscience. (These elders have little conscience.)

29. These who do worship Reverend Tow, (Pastor is loved because GOD he loves! He’s the founder of BP, missions planter and faithful teacher.)
Have really stooped to levels low. (Nothing so low as you or the wicked did. They rob the old man and calls him names!)
Instead of helping him to see, (It is he that GOD used to help many of us to see! And now it is you I don't want see.)
Each cries, “A father he’s to me!” (Ahem! Only Elder TC Lim cries, “A father he’s to me!” and again may I ask, where is he?)

30. But Christ had plainly said before, (Yes, verily!)
“No man call you your father, for (Amen!)
Your Father is in heaven one.” (Amen! And Amen!)
Hence it’s against Commandment One! (Please kindly tell that to Elder TC Lim!)

31. But blind these leaders were to this, (Do you mean Elder TC Lim?)
Because of their great lawlessness. (And him again as named?)
They went to gossip to their friends, (They make their lies, "truth" and published as damage control!)
And influence to ungodly ends. (Ladies and gentleman can’t you see?)

32. So what’s the use of holding to (Are you taking us for a ride again?)
A doctrine that you do not “do”? (Doctrine is more than do, and may I asked what did Jeffrey and the lot not do?)
The “Perfect Bible” is okay, (If “Perfect Bible” is okay, then why call it heresy?)
But please, for goodness’ sakes, OBEY! (And who is it that is not obeying now?)

33. Instead of calming people’s hearts, (If a man’s heart is calmed by false assurance, then he is a fool!)
They stroked their passions off the charts. (But if that passion is stirred by the Holy Spirit, it will definitely shoot off charts!)
It’s really no surprise – the strife (Hmm! If man be perfect, who needs GOD?)
Came from a Dean who scolds his wife. (Is there not a cause? Have you not scolded your spouse before? O! Perfect man?)

34. Perhaps it started farther back, (So, now you starts to dig and gossip! Openly!)
With Founding Pastor’s vicious smack. (Shame your old pastor in your speech!)
Which he had planted on his late (Is this how your god teaches you?)
Wife – adding judgment to his fate. (hisssssssssssssssss……………………..!)

35. For when he got another one, (And “death do us part”!)
With whom he had a girl and son. (Is not children GOD’s blessing?)
The girl went on to be abused, (And there you go again!)
While Ivy everyone amused. (As like your spouse never sin! O! righteous gossip!)

36. But judgment did not stop right there: (So you want to speak his shame! As if you are rid of blame.)
The crippled son was dealt unfair, (As if you’re that righteous. Are you exercising judgment on GOD’s behalf?)

37. Inside this shack for half his life, (Defend her I won’t cos non VPP, but students oft were sent to clean up his room.)
And tortured by the second wife, (Please comment not if you know little. Please keep it to VPP.)

But when so few supported it, (GOD’s crowd is growing, please look at the evening classes!)
He changed his goalposts not a bit. (Why should we?)

42. The phantom text was now played down, (We have no phantom text! The text is that which underlies the KJV!)
A second notion took he to town. (There’s no need for such an act!)
He now pled that ‘discrepancies’ (From young, our PERFECT GOD we believe, a PERFECT BIBLE gave us HE indeed!)
Weren’t errors, but apparent, please! (Are you trying to say that GOD double talks and can’t be bothered if we question the integrity of HIS WORD? O Please!)

43. This novel concept has a name, (This is not a new doctrine! It’s an un-catalogued common sense! Are you stupid or what?)
(Coining new terms must be a game) (If GOD says something and later say, “got meh?” then you better panic!)
The new doctrine’s called V.P.P.
It’s Verbal and it’s Plenary.

44. It teaches us that every word
Has always been through time preserved.
Though at its heart it may be true, (Ooi! Take us for a ride again? Bus fare is going up you know?)
It’s only held by just a few.

45. There’s one big hindrance to it now, (May I know what bus is this? Around the world in 62 stanzas? Round trip?)
To solve it fast they don’t know how.
And that is in Psalm 22,
In verse 16 you’ll find the clue.

46. “They pierced my hands and feet” we read. (Please don’t show that you know what the Author’s intent is. Are you really that close?)
And so defeat they must concede! (Another ride again? VPP is talking about the TEXT underlies KJV, you’re talking about translation. That doesn’t really fit!)
For in the Hebrew it’s not the same,
So should they not their cause disclaim?

47. Instead of “pierced” it’s written “lion,”
It seems that there’d been some re-writin’.
And fingers point toward the Jews
Who really had a lot to lose.

48. For if the Christ was crucified,
The Holy Scriptures, verified!
Since this to them real bad news spells,
They changed the “pierced” to something else. (Oooi! Translation again! Please remember VPP is the text underlies!)

49. For years we Christians this have said,
That “lion” it’s not, but “pierced” instead.
Though in the texts that are extant,
It’s always “lion,” hundred percent.

50. So while they might find proof in time,
To clear the scribes of this great crime,
There’s still something that’s not quite right,
And that’s their spirit – they love to fight. (And you love to lie! And you also love to take us for rides!)

51. When a whim becomes the balance,
To weigh out “tares” from its adherents,
When one becomes this schismatic,
The Word him simply calls – heretic. (And so from "The Perfect Bible is Okay" to "a joke" and now a heresy! How interesting?)

52. It’s no surprise that this was seen, (Oh! And you forgot to inform many things that were amiss!)
Or rather heard, with all the screams, (Tickets were numbered, mics were turned down to zero, questions are not allowed, etc, etc!)
They shouted in the ACM,
(They sounded quite like Eminem.) (Er, what is this “eminem” thing? Rock band with vulgarity. How come you know? Do you listen to ROCK music?)

53. Those who fell prey to V.P.P., (Thank GOD, they did!)
Established True Life BPC! (To continue in LIFE BPC, I believe will soon cause the spiritual to fall as well!)
With Founding Pastor as their guide, (Thank GOD, though not perfect a man he truly fears the LORD!)
Controlled by Jeffrey at his side. (Arh then? Do you think having people like you will make a better choice?)

54. And in each message True Life preaches (Of course, because man often takes GOD’s WORD for granted)
The speaker girds up high his breeches. (Every reminder is GREAT for those who did evil, and to you also who look as an innocent storyteller.)
On Sunday, Friday, Vigil Service,
They never fail to teach on this.

55. “The Perfect Bible’s saving faith!”
That’s what Pastor Tow the Father saith. (Father? Do you mean Elder TC Lim again? But is he in Pastor Tow’s church?)
And so when such a thing’s appended,
Free offer of the Gospel’s ended. (Ooi! Please don’t do summary for a church you don’t attend! And buries people with half truths.)

56. The poison did not stop right there, (Do you mean your song?)
The other churches, did not spare. (Many churches like Life Church dare.)
The church which stands near Jurong West, (Calvary Jurong! O yes! They also tried the same thing and Truth BPC is formed!)
Was put severely to the test. (Jurong copied what happened in Life BPC and tried to improve on it. Right?)

57. The ones who on this doctrine stand, (Ooi! Is this a new gossip?)
With Carol and her lisping man, (Please keep ye to VPP!)
Raised the support to split the church.
And left it flound’ring in the lurch.

58. Or so they thought when they did leave
That in the middle the church would cleave.
But actually she did quite well,
As gone from her was Waite’s bad smell.

To be Faith’s champion of the day
He led the church to disarray.
